“Top 50” Car Wash Chain Opens 14th Exterior-only, Express Car Wash and Celebrates with Free Carwashes

HOUSTON,TX -- Sept 29, 2009 – Quick Quack Car Wash, a Sacramento, California-based company, is opening the doors on a new express car wash in the northwest section of the greater Houston area. The new location is the first in the Houston area, but is the 14th link in a growing chain of exterior-only, express car washes in Texas, California, and Colorado. Quick Quack was recently named one of the top 50 car washes in the country.

The car wash is located at 11921 Spring Cypress Road at North Eldridge Parkway, just a mile west of Highway 249. A week long Grand Opening Celebration will kick off on Friday, October 9th where the first 100 cars to visit the car wash each day will receive a free car wash. Regular car wash hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

The Quick Quack Car Wash concept grew out of a desire to provide a very clean car wash, but to do it much faster. The process allows for a great wash and eliminates waiting. Quick Quack offers three levels of exterior washes priced from only $4.99 each. All wash packages are designed to get a customer through in only three minutes. Popular features of the car wash include free self-serve vacuums for all customers and a “Wash All You Want” Unlimited Car Wash Membership for as low as $14.95 per month.

Fully automated and computerized, the high-quality carwashing system is a soft-cloth, exterior-only conveyor wash. Customers stays in their vehicles while being automatically guided through the glass enclosed tunnel where the vehicle is soaked, soaped, washed, polished, rinsed with spot-free water and blown dry all in a matter of minutes.

Quick Quack Car Wash also takes pride in being environmentally friendly. Most car washes use 30 to 50 gallons of fresh water per car. Home washing can use as much as 80 gallons per car in addition to sending harmful chemicals into local streams. Quick Quack’s reclaim system recycles water such that only eight to ten gallons of fresh water per car is used per wash. Additionally, the wash uses environmentally friendly shampoos that are biodegradable and non-corrosive.
