Get Your Motor Running
Cruising down the highway is made all the better by blasting cheery tunes that everyone in the car can sing along with. Whether you are planning an extensive road trip or just need to make a quick stop at your nearest express car wash, an iconic soundtrack is a fitting companion while on the road. Here are our picks for the top five songs to bellow out with friends and family as you travel down the highway in style.
1. “Can’t Stop” – Red Hot Chili Peppers
This tune’s quick tempo and snappy lyrics are enough to compel listeners to start singing along. Playing this one in the car while pressing down on the gas is always a treat. It is also a wonderful way to pass the time while going through a car wash with a few of your pals.
2. “Steal My Sunshine” – Len
Pop melodies with a catchy chorus are big hits when traveling with multiple people. “Steal My Sunshine” will impress anyone who grew up with all the pop songs of the late ’90s. If one of your passengers is hearing it for the first time, they will likely become instant fans who end up downloading the song after the trip.
3. “Car Wash” – Rose Royce
As cliché as it may be, we couldn’t refrain from placing this jam on the list. Everyone has heard this song in their mind while sitting in the local drive-thru car wash. Why not play it for real the next time you visit one of our convenient Quick Quack locations? The disco groove and infectious vocals will put a smile on every face as your vehicle is restored to a pristine state in just a few minutes.
4. “High Hopes” – Panic! At The Disco
This optimistic ballad will help break the tension should anyone in the car be nervous about the big trip ahead. Help them enjoy your road trip with a powerful song that reminds us all to remain hopeful for what is to come. The song is fun to sing, and the message will help everyone relax while on the road.
5. “Crazy” – Gnarls Barkley
When it comes down to just plain fun, you can hardly beat Gnarls Barkley. “Crazy” is one of the duo’s most popular tracks for good reason as each part of the song rolls right off the tongue. Expect the whole car to be roaring emphatically during the chorus sections where singer CeeLo Green goes wild.
Let the Whole Family Sing While the Suds Do Their Thing
An express car wash lasts roughly as long as most popular songs. A few minutes is all it takes for an artist to blow minds and for a car to look as good as new. Load up a playlist with your favorite songs, and head for your nearest Quick Quack.
